This ability is extremely dangerous to tanks.Magmadar will buff himself often with this ability, increasing his attack speed for 150% for 8 seconds. Compared to Lucifron, Molten Core's first boss, the healing requirements for Magmadar are significantly higher. Magmadar has few mechanics, but many of them require careful positioning or precise reactions. The main tank should be able to tank Magmadar right where he stands, only needing to move once he is hit by Lava Bomb. In my opinion, this item is worth getting if it drops. It only provides an extra 20 spell damage and an extra 14 points to your critical strike rating (1% in the old system). When it comes to the spell damage, however, this item is a bit lacking. It also gives you an extra 10 shadow resistance, which can be very valuable in some of the encounters in MC.
It has a good amount of intellect and stamina, and a decent amount of spirit. It drops off Magmadar (usually the second boss in MC, it depends on which way you go), at roughly a 15-20% rate.
